Ratatat’s new album, LP4, doesn’t come out until June 8th, but you can listen to it in its entirety at NPR: First Listen. About half of this album sounds similar to what they had on their previous album, LP3, probably because they recorded the songs at the same time. LP3 was a personal fave so I don’t consider this a bad thing at all. A lot of the songs have been reworked and they’ve tossed some new stuff in there as well. I’d say it’s the perfect mix of the old sound you love with a little something new to feast on.
